During this trip you will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful beauty of Paracas National Park. It is the only one of its kind that also protects marine areas. This bay is a retreat for many animals, such as sea lions, penguins, whales, dolphins, migratory birds and hundreds of native birds. Learn about one of the most important pre-Inca cultures, the Paracas culture, on a flight over the spectacular Nazca Lines. And as a contrast to the lines in the desert sand, you will experience the fertile wine-growing region of Ica, which is located like an oasis in the middle of the dry desert landscape.
Day 1
Lima / Paracas National Park
In the early morning we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station. Your tour to Pisco starts here. Transfer to the selected hotel. In Pisco, visit the Cathedral and the Julio C. Tello Museum, where you can admire fine ceramics and textiles from the Paracas culture. From a lookout point, there is a wonderful view of the sea lions on the coast. Then you have the opportunity to relax on the beautiful beaches. Return to the hotel in Pisco. F / - / -
Day 2
Paracas National Park / Ballestas Islands / Lima
After breakfast transfer to the port of Paracas. From here you start a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands. This nature reserve is the most important on the Peruvian coast. Here you can spot sea lions, pelicans, penguins and other sea birds. On the way to Ica we make a small stop to look at the "Candelabro", a huge figure in the style of the Nazca Lines, which already offers a foretaste of the next item on the day's program. Because when you arrive in Ica, the spectacular overflight over the mysterious Nazca Lines awaits you.
After the flight you take a city tour in the wine metropolis of Ica, visit a wine grower and the Huacachina oasis in the middle of the desert. In the evening transfer to the bus station and return to Lima. F / - / -
