An unforgettable experience: on Galapagos diving. In collaboration with the German-Ecuadorian diving instructor Mathias Espinosa, we offer you this unique experience in one of the most beautiful diving areas in the world, the Galápagos Islands.

The enormous number of large fish makes the Galápagos Archipelago a diving paradise: there are sharks - from the endemic Galápagos shark to the hammerhead shark to the 15 m long whale shark -, manta rays up to 3 m in diameter, sea lions, aquatic iguanas, morays and countless colorful saltwater fish.

Due to the abundance of food in this region, the sharks pose no threat to humans.

Scuba Iguana Team

Mathias Espinosa worked for the renowned diving yachts of the Aggressor fleet for 6 years and has now specialized in well-organized day trips. With his boat, which is designed for a maximum of 10 divers, he can reach the diving destinations with the 170 HP motor in a minimum of time, so that a lot of time remains at the dive site.

After arriving at one of the more than 40 dive sites, a detailed briefing takes place. Afterwards you will experience the fantastic underwater world of the Galápagos Islands in small groups with your diving guide. The guides, with over 5000 dives, speak German, English and Spanish.

The selection of the respective dive site is definitely made on site and takes place in consultation with you, the other participants and taking into account the weather and diving conditions. The planned dive sites can therefore change at any time.

Important information about the diving programs!
Requirement:

  • A valid diving license is required for divers.
  • Diving device: 11 liter aluminum device with INT connections.
  • Bring a DIN / INT bracket adapter for your DIN regulator.
  • Deco dives: Due to strong currents and high waves, deco dives are generally not feasible and not permitted.

Attention: No decompression chamber is currently available in the Galápagos Archipelago (planned)!

The diving depth limit is 30m.

Please bring your diving certification and logbook with you.

Diving in the Galápagos Archipelago is only suitable for advanced and experienced divers. There is no diving training!
