Drive to Chagres National Park. A fascinating day trip where we see the ships in the Panama Canal up close and learn about the tropical rainforests and wildlife of the Panama Canal.
A very early departure from Panama City to Gamboa. A boat trip on Lake Gatun, our boat will pass very close to the enormous ships transiting the Panama Canal. Tropical rainforest covers the entire area, and we'll stop at several small islands where capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, and Geoffroy's monkeys live in the wild. We'll observe wild monkeys up close and experience unforgettable moments.
