Day 1: BStart of the main program on March 01.04.26th, XNUMX
Arranged flights, e.g., KLM from Frankfurt/Main via Paris or Amsterdam to Panama City (PTY). From North Rhine-Westphalia, nonstop KLM flights from/to Amsterdam are also available upon request! (Departures are also possible from Düsseldorf, Hamburg, or Munich, for example.)
Departure from Frankfurt/Main around 6:55 a.m., arranged transatlantic flight via Amsterdam (possibly also possible via Paris) to Panama City, arrival local time around 16:25 p.m. in Panama City. After you have collected your luggage, a Frobeen Erlebnisreisen/Frobeen Travel representative will be standing in the exit area of the airport (please look for a sign with the Frobeen logo and your last name). A member of staff will drive you to our hotel Paitilla Inn. Time to move into your room. Brief meeting with Christian Frobeen to discuss the program the next day, followed by an overnight stay in Panama City. (meals on the plane)

Day 2: Panama City (city tour & welcome party)
In the morning there is a very interesting city tour in the wonderful old town of Panama City.


There is one in the evening Welcome Party with all participants at Hotel Paitilla Inn. (Please pay for the drinks yourself!)

Day 3: Visit to an Embera Indian tribe (full day tour from/to Panama City)


Drive to Chagres National Park. Here we board traditional Indian dugout canoes and cruise along the Chagres River to a waterfall in the rainforest (opportunity to swim at a waterfall: bring swimwear!). Afterwards we go by boat to the village of Embera. In the village we will have a traditional meal and learn about Embera culture and customs, such as handicrafts and dances. Then return to Panama City. Overnight again at the Paitilla In Hotel in Panama City. (B/L/-) L = Lunch = typical Indian snack
Entry into Chagres National Park currently. USD 5 per person, Embera Community currently USD 30 per person (These fees are included in the tour price!)

Day 4: Wildlife viewing on Monkey Island in Lake Gatun and visit to the Panama Canal
A fascinating day trip where we see the ships in the Panama Canal up close and learn about the tropical rainforests and wildlife of the Panama Canal.

Drive from Panama City to Gamboa. Boat trip in the Gatun reservoir, with our boat we pass very close to the huge ships that cross the Panama Canal. Tropical rainforest covers the entire area and we stop at a few small islands where capuchin, howler and Geoffroy's monkeys live in the wild. We observe wild monkeys up close and we can experience unforgettable moments.

Day 5: Panama City - Guna Yala (San Blas Islands)
Transfer to the small Albrook Airport in Panama City. Flight (departure time approx. 12 p.m.) with a chartered Kodiak aircraft (approx. 40 minutes flight time) to the San Blas Islands (Isla Corazon de Jesus)

Transfer to our three-star catamaran around 14:00 p.m. The San Blas Islands are among the most colorful and beautiful regions of the country. Wonderful hours on the catamaran are waiting for you. You will stop at some islands where you can relax, snorkel or swim. Among other things, you will visit the villages of the Kuna. The Kuna are among the original cultures of America, which were hardly touched by the colonial era and its consequences. Here you will encounter centuries-old traditions and lifestyles. Important note: The approximately 365 San Blas Islands are protected by reefs, so that there is minimal swell to zero swell.

Note: If the hotel is fully booked, an equivalent hotel will be booked. If a sailing catamaran is not available at short notice, an equivalent sailing catamaran will be booked. The allocation to the sailing catamarans takes place after receipt of the booking. The size of the catamaran or the two catamarans depends on the number of bookings. Due to the low land weight on Isla Corazón, the group will probably have to be split into two propeller planes.
